Mudline (field condition) updates are based on member leagues reporting field closures once they learn of them. Reporting field conditions provides visiting teams a simple and easily accessible way to learn of field closures prior to them preparing and leaving for a game. Fields are often not declared closed until minutes prior to game time. |
